Global A & D changes furniture style to Shabby Chique

In a former article on our website we explained what the term Shabby Chic means as a typical style of furniture. For the gathering of the information we used a page on wikipedia about Shabby Chic. This page describes the history of the term en its origin.

Today we received an e-mail from a lawyers firm in New York that informed that Global A&D can no longer use term Shabby Chic on its website and no longer can use the URL’s shabbychic.be and shabby-chic.be, because this term is a registered trademark. Global did not know of this registration and wishes to excuse the owner of shabby chic for this mishap. Global A&D will use the term Shabby Chique for this style of furniture in the future.
